What I Love

I have a bunny. His name is Bunny. I can remember when my mom took me over to her friend's neighbor's to look for a pet when I was younger. The first time I held him my mom said I looked up to her with the biggest eyes asking if we could keep it. He fit in the palm of my hand perfectly (keep in mind I was about 10 years old) and he had the softest fur I ever felt. He was the cutest thing I ever saw. I know what you're thinking...a bunny. Right. But he was the sweetest pet ever! First off, we litter box trained him so he ran around the house doing whatever he wanted, as long as he didn't chew on too much. And believe it or not, his favorite foods were bananas, popsicles, and the candy PEZ. Here's a picture of him at Christmas time.

  1. Bunny is one adorable bunny. It's good to know that bunnies can be great pets, too. I had a bunny once, years ago when I was in college. His name was Mikhail Baryshnikov. After Mikhail Baryshnikov. Bunny Mikhail didn't like his litter box. He liked my roommate's pillow. And he loved electricity, I think. He chewed through electrical cords. He chewed through phone cords. He chewed through the cord of my hairdryer. He chewed the cord on the VCR, the answering machine, and my roommate's blender. I'm sure he was getting zapped, at least a little, but nothing stopped him. We finally had to ship him off to a farm. I'm sure his life there was less shocking.

  2. "I'm sure his life there was less shocking." I liked that. It made me laugh. However, I do not know who Mikhail Baryshnikov is? Maybe I should look it up.

  3. For those of you who may not know either. He's a Russian ballet dancer. Here's a quick video from youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8__iRsxG_A
